The MediaDock LVD is Avid's removable LVD (Low Voltage Differential) drive solution providing speed, capacity, scalability and reliability. Designed exclusively for digital media customers, the Avid MediaDock LVD system is made up of two components: the rugged 8-bay MediaDock LVD chassis and removable MediaDock LVD shuttle drives, which are available in a range of capacities. MediaDock LVD is forward looking, designed and architected to support future enhancements in the storage industry, like faster LVD disk drives and faster SCSI interfaces.
